by Nedra Pezold Roberts
Sisters Enola (Yvette Billelo) and Trudy (Stephanie Dumond) spend their days on Magazine St. dredging up old resentments, trying to keep their family laundromat open and keeping old Uncle Slack Jaw (Jon Reeves) out of trouble with the bank. Post Katrina business has been a struggle for the duo and they desperately need a small business loan. The arrival of Arlene (Celeste Roberts), a 28 year old tattoo artist from Florida, who is looking for self-truth, adds the potential for resolving the sister’s resentments and financial worries. Mick Mahoney (Scott Courville) is a lawyer and a good family friend who provides the voice of reason in this touching drama by Nedra Pezold Roberts. Wash. Dry.
